EMMA S. RUND
The Bushwick Girls
In 2017, a young Dreamer uncovers the history of the house she lives in and embarks on a project to share the story of immigrants over generations, much to the chagrin of her landlady. In 1949 in the same house, four young women overcome their differences to fight for the house that has become their home. This is a story of a series of unlikely companions, overcoming prejudices to learn from each other and work together to enact change.
